Chevy Camaro Key Not Working
Step 2 Remove the radio fuse only not the fuse that says accradio.
Chevy camaro key not working. Maybe the battery in the key fob is dead. If it is not replace the fuse. TURN the flip key to the OFFLOCK position and REMOVE it.
It was sticking intermittently and causing the remotes to work sporadically. This happens all of the time and will cause your key fob to stop working. It should be hot on both sides.
REMOVE the Radio fuse from the Fuse Box. You need to hear two chirps. TURN Ignition from OFF to RUN 3 times within 5 seconds ending in the RUN position.
Should you hear only one chirp your vehicle does not have factory security and these instructions do not apply. Fuse 17 located on the left-hand LH drivers side of the instrument panel. If youre struggling to determine why your key fob isnt working here are some quick and easy ways to pinpoint the problem.
Door locks will cycle LOCK UNLOCK indicating successful entry into Programming Mode. If the transmitter battery is weak or if there is interference with the signal the DIC may display NO REMOTE DETECTED or NO REMOTE KEY WAS DETECTED PLACE KEY IN TRANSMITTER POCKET THEN START YOUR VEHICLE. In the ignition key hole there is a little door that has a micro-switch on it. This issue does not discriminate between engines though so every Camaro owner has a chance to experience this mishap. Replace with a CR2032 or equivalent battery.
