It can be faulty ignition lock cylinderI suggest to wiggle the steering wheel a bit and see if the key gets released outIf that is not helping then first turn steering wheel to right and try removing the keyor next turn steering wheel to left and see if you can remove the key. If this works then more than likely you have a worn or damaged key or your ignition may be starting to fail you may not get a second chance to turn your key so go to a locksmith or call a Locksmithand ask them to first cut you a key by numbers this is called a CODE key.
